How to Create an API Key

Sign in to 3Commas.

Sign in to 3Commas and select 3Commas API from the right-side menu.

Add new API token

On the 3Commas API settings page, click the New API access token button.

Select a method for generating the API Key.

Self-generated: You must provide an RSA Private Key. To learn how to generate an RSA Private Key, see the article How to create an RSA Key pair.

System-generated: In this case, the system will automatically create an API Key and a Secret. Unlike the self-generated method, the Secret (used as your private key) will only be shown once—right after the API Key is created on the 3C app. Make sure to store it securely as it won’t be displayed again.

Complete the required form fields.

Specify the required parameters, including your RSA Private Key if applicable, and select the necessary permissions for the API Key.

Create your API Key.

After creating an API Key, store the information securely.
